February 24, 2014
APPROVED
"These minutes of the Town of Carroll Select Board have been recorded by its Secretary.
Though believed to be accurate and correct they are subject to additions, deletions and corrections by the Select Board at its next meeting when the Board votes its final approval of the minutes. They are being made available at this time to conform to the requirements of New Hampshire RSA 91-A:2."

Board members present: Paul Bussiere, Bonnie Moroney. Bill Dowling was excused.

The meeting was called to order at 7 PM by Chairman Bussiere

Members of the public present: Evan Karpf, Jeremy Oleson, Michael Hogan, Dianne Hogan, David Scalley, Donna Foster, Mike Gooden, Ann Fabrizio

Pledge of Allegiance

The Board announced the approval of bills and signing of manifests.

Selectman Moroney made a Motion to: Accept the minutes of 2/10/2014. Chairman Bussiere seconded and the Motion passed unanimously.

The following items were approved and signed:
Letter of Engagement, Audits 2013-2015 – Melanson Heath & Company, PC
Property Tax Abatements – Feeney, Katsaros
Property Tax Abatements – US Government/USDA Forest Service, Hogan (Police Station)
Water Warrant – Malo, Gemmer
Certificates of Occupancy – Muise, Birchwood Commons LLC – Suites 1-2-3

The Chairman spoke of renewing the lease for the Police Station for a year and asked the Secretary to start the process.

Other:

Selectman Moroney thanked all for the support and participation in the Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday night which was for the benefit of the Fire Department. She said it made over $2,000.
Chairman Bussiere added his thanks to all involved and said it was wonderful. He also thanked Fosters’ Crossroads for the raffle they did which was also for the benefit of the Fire Department.

Donna Foster then asked the Chairman if she could present a check for $506 to Fire Chief, Jeremy Oleson. This represented the proceeds from the raffle and Mrs. Foster was thanked again for their generosity.

As there was no further business, the Board was polled and went into non-public session, per RSA 91-A-3, for Personnel and Town Aid 7:10 p.m.

At the close of Non-Public Session, Selectman Moroney moved to return to Public Session and seal the minutes from Non-Public Session. Chairman Bussiere seconded and the Motion passed unanimously.

There being no further discussion, Selectman Moroney made a Motion to: adjourn the meeting. Chairman Bussiere seconded and the Motion passed unanimously. Chairman Bussiere declared the meeting ended at 8:50 p.m. The next meeting will be Monday, March 10, 2014.
