Carroll Board of Selectmen
Meeting Minutes
February 2, 2016

“These minutes of the Town of Carroll Select Board have been recorded by its Secretary. Though believed to be accurate and correct they are subject to additions, deletions and corrections by the Select Board at its next meeting when the Board votes its final approval of the minutes. They are being made available at this time to conform to the requirements of New Hampshire RSA 91-A:2.”

Minutes recorded by Maryclare Quigley, Secretary

Board members present: David Scalley, Bonnie J. Moroney, Paul Bussiere.

The meeting was called to order at 7:25 p.m.by Chairman Scalley.

Members of the public present: Jeremy Oleson, Megan Rouillard

Chairman Scalley noted this meeting was called to order to review the property card for Profile Deluxe Motel and to only verify that the smaller buildings on the property have been used as one bedroom cabins since the early 1980’s. The review of the card was necessary as in one location of it, the appraisers have called them “out buildings” and in another they were referred to as “cabins.” It was reiterated that the Board’s role was merely to confirm the use of the cabins, which both Selectpersons Moroney and Bussiere advised they could do. Chairman Scalley said he could not sign as he was not here at that time and knew nothing about it. Therefore, Selectman Bussiere made a Motion to: Sign a statement saying these buildings were used as one bedroom structures prior to 1986. Selectman Moroney seconded and the Motion passed 2 to 0 with one abstention.

The Selectmen requested that our current appraisal company be asked to correct the card for this property and replace “outbuildings” with the current term.

As there was no further business, Selectman Moroney made a Motion to adjourn the meeting and Chairman Scalley seconded. The Motion passed unanimously. Chairman Scalley declared the meeting ended at 7:30 p.m.
