"These minutes of the Town of Carroll Select Board have been recorded by its Secretary. They are being made available at this time to conform to the requirements of New Hampshire RSA 91-A:2."

Minutes recorded by Susan Kraabel, Secretary.

Board members present: Bill Wright, Allen Strasser, Bonnie Moroney

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM.

Members of the public present: Roberta McGee, Doug Bews, Evan Karpf, Bill Dowling, Linda Dowling, Bill Smalley, Harold Garneau, Tom Gately, Billy Rines, Jeff Duncan, Edith Tucker, John Goodney, Margriet Groffen, Claire Gritzer, Carmine Fabrizio, Ann Fabrizio, Dale Shakespeare, John Burt, Mike Matz, Donna Matz

The board announced the approval of bills and signing of checks.

Selectman Strasser moved to approve the minutes of the meeting on 09/25/06. Chairman Wright seconded, and the motion was passed unanimously.

Billy Rines talked to the board about hiring Scott Hayes of Iron Mountain Water to get all the water meters inspected and ready to be read for water bills. Because of time constraints, the one day per week that he and Becki Pederson have been spending reading meters is not going to allow us to bill water this year using the meters. Mr. Rines has spoken to Mr. Hayes about giving us a quote to finish up this project. Ms. Pederson related some of the problems they’d been having when trying to read meters. They both related that it’s not just a matter of touching the meter pad; there are specifics about the piping and meter that slow the process. Selectman Strasser moved to get a proposal from Scott Hayes for consideration. Chairman Wright seconded the motion, and it was passed unanimously.

The following documents were approved and signed.

Driveway permit for Shaun and Jennifer Hagan
Current Use Tax Warrant
