Meeting Minutes
February 5, 2019
“These minutes of the Town of Carroll Select Board have been recorded by its Secretary. Though believed to be accurate and correct they are subject to additions, deletions and corrections by the Select Board at its next meeting when the Board votes its final approval of the minutes. They are being made available at this time to conform to the requirements of New Hampshire RSA 91-A:2.”

The meeting was called to order at 8:07 p.m. by Chairman Scalley.
The following items have been approved and signed:
Order Under RSA 155-B – Giovanni Monticello Investors, LLC
Veterans’ Tax Credit – Hacquebord
Franconia Gas – Propane Contract
Agreement for Professional Services, Old Landfill – Northpoint Engineering, LLC
Tax Map Maintenance Contract – CAI Technologies
Street Number Maintenance Contract – CAI Technologies
Letter of Engagement for 2018 – Melanson Heath
Grant Funding & Submission Plan – Northern Community Investment Corp.
Grant Writing & Submission Contract – Northern Community Investment Corp.
Imre Szauter spoke to these contracts and said they had been approved by the Selectmen
at a prior meeting. The Grant Funding et al, was to have the information ready before
this meeting, and which task had been accomplished. The Grant Writing, et al, will be
pursued after the vote on March 12, 2019, at an hourly cost, whereas the first was a flat
fee of $2,500.

Selectman Moroney said she hoped to have the February Newsletter finished and around Town by the end of this week or early next week.
Selectman Mycko spoke of the follow-up meeting they want to have regarding the Grandview fire. That was such a big fire, the Board wants to discuss procedure, etc. with the Department Heads to learn how everyone’s job went and if there are ways to improve on what was done and how it was handled. They commended and thanked again all who worked on it and reiterated their gratitude that no one was hurt. They asked the Secretary to try to set up a meeting for a Wednesday evening after February 13.
Selectman Moroney said there will be a 250th Town Anniversary Celebration Meeting on Monday, February 18, 2019, at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall.
Imre Szauter said the Building Committee will meet again on Thursday, February 7, 2019, at the Town Hall at 9 a.m.
Chairman Scalley said the next Selectmen’s Meeting will be Monday, February 11, 2019, at 6:30 p.m. at the Town Hall.
There being no further discussion, Selectman Moroney made a Motion to adjourn the meeting. Selectman Mycko seconded and the Motion passed unanimously. Chairman Scalley declared the meeting ended at 8:29 p.m.
