CARROLL BOARD OF SELECTMEN
MEETING MINUTES
OCTOBER 31, 2005
Chairman Ouellette called the meeting to order at 7:02. The board began with the approval of bills and signing of checks. Chairman Ouellette made a motion to approve the minutes from 10/24/2005; which was seconded by Chairman Wright. The board discussed needed clerical changes to the minutes. Chairman Ouellette moved to accept the changes, which was seconded by Selectman Wright. The motion passed unanimously.
Individuals Present: Roberta McGee, Bill Dowling, Carmine and Ann Fabrigio, Jack Catalano, Susan Kraabel, Thomas Gately, Michael Matz, Judy Cookson, Donna Matz, John Burt, Ben Jellison, and Paul Bussiere.
Receive Bid From Commerford, Nieder, and Perkins: As the bid has not been received by either of the Board members or the secretary, the matter was tabled until next week.
Presentation by Bill Dowling: Mr. Dowling came before the board and said that the new owner of the Bell Property came to the town landfill and said that the board had given him permission to “dump anything” at the landfill without having to pay. Mr. Dowling told the board that he told the gentleman that he would need him to present a latter from the board stating such. Chairman Ouellette said that the board had never granted such permission.
Beechers Pulpit: The submission of the letter will be tabled until the address/name of the developer is confirmed. After it is, the selectmen will sign the letter, submit it, and copies will be sent to the Historical Society and Jean
