Meeting Minutes
February 5th, 2024

“These minutes of the Town of Carroll Select Board have been recorded by its Secretary. Though believed to be accurate and correct they are subject to additions, deletions, and corrections by the Select Board at its next meeting when the Board votes its final approval of the minutes. They are being made available at this time to conform to the requirements of New Hampshire RSA 91-A:2.”

The meeting was called to order following the Deliberative Session at 8:38 p.m. by Chairperson Marquis.

Signing of bills and manifests completed prior to this meeting.

Selectperson Moroney made a motion to approve the minutes of 1/30/2024 as written. Selectperson Greer seconded and the motion passed unanimously.

The Select Board was presented with the 2023 Landfill Gas and Post Closure Inspection Report from the Department of Environmental Services Solid Waste Management Bureau. This was reviewed by the board. Selectperson Moroney moved to approve and have the Chairman sign. Selectman Greer seconded, all in favor, none opposed. DES report signed by Chairperson Marquis.

The Select Board was presented with a supplementary warrant for water rent tax 2024 for State of NH DOT/Bridge Maintenance. This was reviewed by the Select Board. Selectperson Moroney moved to approve and sign. Selectman Greer seconded, all in favor, none opposed. Water warrant for NH DOT/Bridge Maintenance approved and signed.

Selectperson Moroney motioned to approve amended warrant article 11 as written. Selectman Greer seconded this motion, all in favor, none opposed. The Select Board is in favor of warrant article 11 3-0.

OTHER
Selectperson Moroney made a motion to enter non-public for personnel at 8:42 p.m. Selectman Greer seconded this motion and the motion passed unanimously.

The Select Board re entered public session at 8:50 p.m. Selectperson Moroney made a motion to adjourn. Motion seconded by Selectperson Greer. The next meeting of the Select Board will be Tuesday, February 13th, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. Meeting adjourned.
