Minutes recorded by Susan Kraabel, Secretary.

Board members present: Bill Wright, Allen Strasser, Bonnie Moroney

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM.

The board announced the approval of bills and signing of checks.

Selectman Moroney moved to approve the minutes of the meeting on 12/04/06. Selectman Strasser asked if a correction had been made, and it had not. In the fifth paragraph, it should have stated that Selectman Strasser made a motion to review all the warrant articles prior to the January Budget Committee Public Hearing, and that Chairman Wright seconded, and the motion was passed unanimously. The secretary will correct and minutes will be approved next week.

It was noted by the secretary that the registered letter sent to Juliah Chamberlain regarding her Brook Road property has been received by her. The 60 days she has to prove the lot is suitable to build on begins on December 7, 2006.

Stan Borkowski’s report of weekly activity has not been received as of meeting time.

The warrant article for firefighter benefits for the proposed second firefighter came up next. Selectman Strasser moved to table the approval of the article until the final budget committee budget is prepared so the selectmen can look at total spending proposed for 2008. A petition article can be submitted up to January 9, 2007. Chairman Wright seconded the motion, and it was passed unanimously.

The water line expansion warrant article was submitted to Bernie Waugh and he recommended dividing it into two articles
