TOWN OF CARROLL BUDGET COMMITTEE
16 JULY 2008
Members present: Lori Hogan, Tom Gately, Ken Mills, Michael Shea, Carmine Fabrizio,
and Bonnie Moroney
Meeting brought to order at 7:05 PM. There were no minutes to approve for June, meeting as not enough members to make a quorum.
Committee went over the existing by-laws for the Budget Committee to see if any changes or updates were needed. There were no changes needed to Tom made motion to accept by-laws as written and Carmine second, and it was passed. Lori Hogan, signed as
chairman for updated copy.
A currant budget was passed out to members and the committee went through it to look for any items that were over budget or seemly to high for this time of the budget year.
The first question was for the item number 01-4194.10-900 under General Government Buildings for Misc. the budget was for $600.00 and the currant year expenditures was
$2324.59.
The next question was under the Fire Dept. budget 01-4220.10-900 Misc. that was budgeted at $600.00 but the currant year expenditures was $1014.19.
Bonnie will ask Maryclare what this money was used for and tell the committee at the Aug. meeting.
Lori, said she would ask Maryclare about the Recreation Ctr. Spec Revenue as to why
If reflects $20,000.00, that was on the warrant, so that the recreation could use the money that the take in from campers, not to ask for an extra $20,000.00.
The next meeting we will set up the dates for the different departments and committees to have their budget ready and to come before the committee.
Lori, mentioned that we need to get a copy of all the RSA’s that the budget committee uses for Mike Shea.
Tom motioned for adjournment and Mike second, it was passed and we adjourned at 7:32 PM
Next meeting will be Aug. 20th at 7 PM.
