Meeting Minutes
August 11, 2005
Members of the board present: Paul Bussiere, Ed Martin, Russell Freidman
Meeting called at 7:00 PM
Minutes taken by Vicki Brodeur, Secretary
Members of the public present: Jay Ouellette
Mr. Freidman made a motion to approve the meeting minutes of June 5, 2005.
Mr. Martin seconded the motion.
All were in favor.
Mr. Bussiere said the board had an application before them submitted by Jay Ouellette and John Burt. He said the application was for a special exception for a used car lot.
Mr. Bussiere said the application is complete.
Mr. Martin stated in reviewing the application his concerns were with the 150 cars which were listed on the application.
Mr. Ouellette said that is the number with utilizing the entire property but stated he would not have 150 cars on the property.
Mr. Bussiere asked about the setbacks on the property.
Mr. Ouellette said the property is within the setbacks allowed.
He said he would look into the impact it would have on the community as well as the traffic.
Mr. Bussiere said he would like to see a plot plan showing the property and the layout of the proposed business as well.
Mr. Freidman asked Mr. Ouellette if he was a licensed car dealer.
Mr. Ouellette said he has been one for about nineteen years.
Mr. Martin made a motion to approve the application.
Mr. Freidman seconded the motion.
All were in favor.
The public hearing is set for September 8, 2005 at
7:00 PM.
Mr. Martin made a motion to adjourn the meeting.
